SimpleSmart Rename does not collect, store, transmit or share any personal data.

Your files

All renaming happens locally on your Mac. File names, file contents and metadata (such as EXIF dates) are read only to perform the rename you request and never leave your device.

No tracking, no analytics, no accounts

The app has no user accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no third-party tracking.

In-app purchase

The optional Pro upgrade is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. I do not receive your payment information or personal details.

Settings stored on your device

Your preferences (theme, language, rename options) and folder-access permissions you granted are stored locally on your Mac only.
