How do I rename files?
Drop files or folders onto the window, choose a rename format and press “Rename Files”.
Why does the app ask for access to a folder?
SimpleSmart Rename runs in the macOS App Sandbox. To rename a file the app needs your permission for the folder that contains it. You are asked once per folder and the choice is remembered.
What is included in Pro?
Pro is a one-time purchase (no subscription) that unlocks renaming by the file's own Capture Date, renaming files inside subfolders, and setting the Modified Date from the EXIF Capture Date.
How do I restore my purchase on another Mac?
Open the Pro screen in the app and press “Restore Purchases” while signed in with the same Apple ID.
